Each bead feels like a tiny, hand-shaped piece of history, and the kiln firing gives them a smooth, durable finish that I wasn't expecting from raw clay. I've worn mine every day since it arrived and the colors haven't faded or chipped at all.

I wasn't sure how the clay would feel against my skin, but the hand-rolled texture is surprisingly smooth and warm. You can really tell these were sun dried and kiln fired by the women in KwaZulu-Natal—each bead has its own subtle character that makes it feel special.
