The off-white finish shifts beautifully in evening light, and the matt texture feels almost like warm stone under your fingers. It's heavier than I expected, which makes it feel genuinely handcrafted. My bedside table finally has the sculptural anchor it was missing.
The chamotte clay gives it this lovely grainy texture under your fingers that you just don't see in mass-produced lamps, and the off-white shade warms up my whole desk corner. It's heavier than I imagined, which actually makes it feel really solid and well-made.
I was a little worried the matt finish would feel chalky, but it’s actually smooth and warm to the touch, and the chamotte speckle gives it a lovely handmade texture. It anchors my bedside table perfectly.
