Heavier than I expected, which actually makes it feel solid and stable underfoot. The natural finish has a raw, earthy look that fits my hallway corner perfectly, though I wish it came with a protective base to avoid scratching the floor.
The wood grain on this stool is gorgeous, and it feels solid enough to actually use as a side table, not just for sitting. It’s a bit heavier than I expected, so moving it around takes some effort, but the craftsmanship seems worth it.
