Each bead feels like a tiny, hand-shaped piece of history, and the kiln firing gives them a smooth, durable finish that I wasn't expecting from raw clay. I've worn mine every day since it arrived and the colors haven't faded or chipped at all.
The sun-dried clay gives each bead its own tiny texture variations, so no two look identical—that handmade quality really comes through. I've worn it almost daily since it arrived and the kiln-fired finish has held up beautifully.
I wasn't sure how the clay would feel against my skin, but the hand-rolled texture is surprisingly smooth and warm. You can really tell these were sun dried and kiln fired by the women in KwaZulu-Natal—each bead has its own subtle character that makes it feel special.
